POCO has confirmed the MIUI 14 rollout schedule in India. The software update will be released to as many as 10 POCO smartphones in the country. It includes the POCO X5 Pro 5G, which comes preloaded with MIUI 14. The handset is currently running MIUI 14 with the Android 12 OS underneath. The new update will bring an Android 13 OS upgrade for the X5 Pro 5G.
The MIUI 14 update will be coming to multiple M- and X-series phones. However, when it comes to the C-series, the recently unveiled POCO C55 is the only phone in the lineup that is planned to get the software update. POCO claims that the MIUI 14 is the most optimised and lightest version. The below-mentioned devices are confirmed to receive the MIUI 14 update starting in the first quarter of 2023.

The MIUI 14 has been available in China since last year, but it was globally announced at the Xiaomi 13 series launch event at the MWC 2023 event, in Barcelona, Spain. With the release of MIUI 14, users can enjoy a plethora of new features, including custom app icons called “super icons”, larger folders, a drag-and-drop feature for transferring files between connected devices, fresh wallpapers, widgets, reduced bloatware, improved functionality with connected devices, and other enhancements.
