Just a week ago, a new budget smartphone from Motorola was spotted in the company’s 44th-anniversary video. Earlier, the leaked phone was called Moto X(2017), but now it is being claimed as Moto C, thanks to the leakster Evleaks.
Now, a new photo emerged on the Chinese social networking website Weibo revealing the Moto C in different colours. It is being said that Motorola is working on this phone for the last couple of months now. As seen in the photo, the Moto C gets a design similar to Moto 5th generation smartphones. The phone gets a round camera design and a polycarbonate back panel. It gets 3 capacitive touch buttons beneath the display and a speaker grill on the back.
As the rumours had it, the Moto C will be a mid-budget smartphone priced under Rs 10,000. As far as specs are concerned, the phone is said to sport a 5-inch HD display and will draw its power from a Snapdragon 4X chipset. Motorola has already launched the Moto G5 in India which is powered by Snapdragon 430. So, we’re speculating that the Moto C will be equipped with either SD425 or SD415.
The Moto C is also said to get 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a MicroSD card slot for expansion. There are also rumours of Moto E4 (or could be named E5 to sync with G5 series) in progress, which could be unveiled this quarter – Q2 2017.
