Moto E22 bags NBTC, EEC, and WiFi Alliance certificatons, launch seems imminent

Moto E22 has been spotted on multiple certification websites. It has appeared on NBTC, WiFi Alliance, and Russia’s EEC website. The smartphone is listed with model number XT2239-8 on these sites. 

The multiple certifications suggest that the Moto E22’s launch could be around the corner. Read on to know what we know about the smartphone from the listings.

Moto E22 bags multiple certifications

The NBTC certification reveals that the Moto E22 will support GSM, WCDMA, and LTE network connections. The EEC listing does not mention any key details of the smartphone. As per the WiFi Alliance listing, the Moto E22 will run on Android 12 OS out of the box. It will support a dual-band WiFi connection. 

Apart from this, the certification websites don’t reveal any key specifications of the Moto E22.

In other news, the Lenovo-owned brand has launched the E22s smartphone in Europe. It features a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz display and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone comes with a 16MP main sensor paired with a depth lens on the back and an 8MP front-facing selfie snapper.

Internally, the Moto E22s is powered by an Helio G37 processor and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. It packs 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The device runs on Android 12 OS out of the box.
