Motorola is on a roll these days, with the launch of the Moto G4 Play its geared up for yet another launch. The phone in question is the Moto E3, the third generation of Moto’s entry level smartphone. Dubbed as the Moto E3 Power this is the first E-series smartphone after being acquired by Lenovo.
Motorola has had a hard time protecting its devices from leaking and quite a lot is known about the E3 Power already. The phone has a 5 inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3 . Moto has stuck with the smaller screen size but it seems battery is the main focus for this smartphone. The phone packs in a 3500mAh battery and gets fast charging technology. We can expect a turbo charger in the box to charge the quickly.
The processor powering the Moto E3 Power is a MediaTek 6735P which is a quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz and has 2GB of RAM. This is the first time Motorola has opted for a MediaTek chipset while its entire line-up is on Snapdragon chipsets. The cameras are reported to be an 8-megapixel sensor at the back with a LED flash, on the front there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies.
The phone comes with 16GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot that supports cards up to 128GB. The E3 Power is a Dual SIM device and will support 4G and VoLTE. The phone will go on sale at midnight on the 19th of September and we are guessing a price of Rs 6,999.
