On: September 14, 2016

Motorola is all set to launch the Moto E3 Power in India. Flipkart has been tweeting teasers and flashing banners to promote the smartphone. The Motorola E series has always been a crucial smartphone for the company and has historically garnered the highest sales for them.

With the launch of the Moto E3 Power fast approaching we stumbled upon the import details of the smartphone. This points that the Moto E3 Power will bear the XT1706 model ID which is very much in line with other Motorola devices. The phone will be a 16GB model and from the looks of it, it’ll only be available in Black.

There are no details of any other colour variant imported in India at the moment. If this is true, it’ll be the first smartphone in the E-series to come in a single shade. That said, the Moto E3 Power has an import price of Rs 5392 per unit and it may lead to a sticker price of Rs 6999. Motorola seems to have imported the phone in huge quantities, over 1 lakh units have been imported to India. With Diwali sale season coming up, Flipkart would surely be betting big on the E3 in coming weeks.

Motorola may use the same concept like the Moto E 2nd Gen and offer replacement bands with it. The model number lines up with the leaks that were discovered earlier. The E3 Power will have a 5-inch display with HD resolution and come with a big capacity battery. The processor powering the phone is a MediaTek 6735P with 2GB of RAM onboard. There is 16GB of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot for further expansion.
