The Moto E4 (XT176x) and the Moto E4 Plus (XT177x) are the upcoming addition to Motorola’s E-Series smartphones. Both these phones are expected to launch in coming months along with Moto C, Moto C Plus and Moto Z2 series. The phones have been part of numerous leaks already and now the full specifications and pricing is revealed too.
As per the report, the Moto E4 will sport a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Powering the phone is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M 64-bit processor. To recall, the Moto E3 Power was the first phone from the company to be powered by a MediaTek processor. Accompanying the processor, the Moto E4 also gets 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
For photography, the phone flaunts an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front camera for video calling and selfies. The phone draws its power from a 2800mAh battery.
The Moto E4 Plus, on other hand, sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a disappointing resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. This is also powered by the same MediaTek MT6737M processor with 2GB/3GB RAM options and 16GB of internal storage. For photography, it houses a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel snapper up front for selfies. It packs in a massive 5,000mAh battery.
Both the phones run Android 7.0 Nougat with Motorola’s near stock UI. The phones come with dual-SIM slots and support connecting options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, Micro-USB port, and 3.5mm audio jack.
Talking about the pricing, the Moto E4 will carry a price tag of 150 euros (Rs 10,500), whereas the Moto E4 Plus will put a price tag of 190 euros (Rs 13,300). The Moto E4 will come in Gray, Gold and Blue colour options while the Moto E4 Plus will come in Gray and Gold colour option only.
