Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility has seen major success in their recent products that offer functionality at an affordable price tag. Today is another such day where the company is looking add another variant in its budget smartphone category by launching the Motorola Moto E4 Plus. The major unique selling proposition is its giant 5,000 mAh battery backup.
Specification wise, the Moto E4 plus features a MediaTek MTK6737 chipset with 3GB RAM. This is coupled with 32GB of internal storage to store data. In terms of design, the E4 Plus follows a similar design to the Moto G5 with a metal unibody design and antenna bands running at both extremes on the rear of the device.
For the shutterbugs and selfie enthusiasts, the device is equipped with a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP camera on the front. The smartphone also sports a 5.5inch HD display rocking a resolution of 1080 x 720 pixels. The Moto E4 Plus also covers you for accidental splashes by having a water-repellant coating. It also comes with the latest version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat and its users should expect an upgrade to the next version as well. This device is VoLTE capable and should work fine with Jio.
The Moto E4 Plus will be available exclusively through Flipkart, starting today and is bundled with a couple of launch offers. The phone will come with a pair of Moto Pulse 2 earphones priced at Rs. 649 and two months of Hotstar Premium complimentary on purchase of the device. Cellular providers also are looking to offer deals together with the purchase of the Moto E4 Plus. Reliance Jio Prime members will get an additional 30GB data free on top of their regular plan if they use their SIM with the device. Idea is also offering 84GB data at Rs. 443
