Earlier this year at IFA in Berlin, Motorola introduced its latest E series smartphone, the Moto E6 Plus, which was launched in India as the Moto E6s. Now, the Lenovo-owned company is all set to unveil a new model of the device called the Moto E6 Play. The phone is expected to be launched a couple of other phones at an event in Latin America next week. Ahead of the launch, the Moto E6 Play’s alleged high-resolution renders have been leaked online. The renders have revealed the design and colour variants of the handset.
Moto E6 Play renders
The Motorola Moto E6 Play’s leaked renders suggest that the smartphone will come with the older 18:9 aspect ratio. While the bottom and chin of the phone are a tad thick, the side bezels are relatively slim. The top bezel houses the earpiece and the selfie camera. As for the ports and button placement, the Moto E6 Play’s leaked images show that the handset’s power and volume rocker will be placed on the right side. At the top edge, the phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the bottom edge will have the charging port.
As for the rear, the smartphone has a single camera and an LED flash, which are placed inside a horizontal camera module in the top-left corner. Just like the Moto E6s, the Moto E6 Play will also come with a Moto dimple at the rear, which will be hiding the fingerprint sensor below it. The smartphone will have rounded corners and curved back, which should provide a more ergonomic experience in the hand. Lastly, the photos reveal that the Moto E6 Play will be available in at least two colour variants at launch – Black and Shiny Blue.
Apart from the Moto E6 Play, Motorola is also expected to introduce the Moto G8 series smartphones. Unfortunately, no details regarding their specifications are available at the moment. However, since the launch is just around the corner, we will know these details soon, so stay tuned for regular updates.
