Motorola has been actively launching smartphones in India. Last month, the Lenovo-owned firm unveiled the Snapdragon 662-powered Moto G9. The brand has now launched the budget-friendly Moto E7 Plus in the country. The phone was announced in Brazil earlier this month.
Some of the major highlights of the Moto E7 Plus include a large display, big battery, and a 48-megapixel dual camera setup. The Moto E7 Plus has arrived as the successor to the Moto E6 Plus from last year.
Moto E7 Plus specifications and features
The Moto E7 Plus has a polycarbonate chassis with a splash-resistant coating. It is fitted with a 6.5-inch Max Vision IPS LCD screen that offers a 20:9 tall aspect ratio and HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels. There’s also a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side.
The Snapdragon 460 mobile platform is at the helm of the Moto E7 Plus. The SoC is coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone offers 64GB of built-in eMMC 5.1 storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion. The Moto E7 Plus draws power from a massive 5,000mAh battery. Unfortunately, Motorola is only offering 10W charging support on the device.
The waterdrop notch on the front of the Moto E7 Plus is the home to its 8-megapixel selfie camera. The rear side of the handset has a square-shaped camera module that houses a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.7 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A fingerprint sensor is integrated with the company’s logo, which is placed below the cameras.
The phone runs a stock version of Android 10 with two years of security updates. The phone offers the usual connectivity functions such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
