Motorola’s next flagship smartphone is launching soon, and we have a first look at the phone as its marketing images, and video has leaked.

This leak comes from evleaks, the reputed leakster. Let’s take a look at the design of the Moto Edge 40 Pro first:

Moto Edge 40 Pro has a design similar to other recent Motorola phones, such as Moto G72 and Moto G52. It has a rectangular camera array with a triple camera setup and a flash. There’s a Moto logo on the centre of the backside of the phone.

The phone has a curved display on the front with a punch hole in the centre. A leaked video reveals that the phone will come with a 165Hz display.

Also, another image leaked reveals that the phone comes with water resistance.

The key takeaway from these leaked images is that this could be a rebranded Moto X40, launched in December in China.

Moto X40 looks the same, and it comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz. It also comes with water and dust resistance with IP68 water resistance.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Moto Edge 40 Pro was previously spotted running Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on Geekbench and Google Play Console.

Moto X40 has a 50MP primary camera with OIS, 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 12MP 2X optical zoom lens. There’s a 60MP selfie camera. Moto Edge 40 Pro could come with the same camera setup on the front and back.

The phone comes with a 4600mAh battery with 125W fast charging. There’s also 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wired charging.
