The image of the retail box doesn’t reveal any key details of the Edge X30 Under-Screen camera edition. However, another poster suggests that the upcoming offering will feature a 60MP front-facing camera which is the same as the regular variant. The sensor will be placed under the screen and located in the centre (similar to centre-aligned punch-hole cutouts).

In recent times, various OEMs have tried to incorporate under-display camera technology on flagship devices. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 has been the recent smartphone to come with an under-screen camera. It remains to be seen how Motorola’s under-display camera tech will perform on the Edge X30.

As for the core specifications, the upcoming Edge X30 Under-Screen camera edition is expected to be the same as the regular variant. This means that the device could come with a 10-bit 6.6-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is tipped to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 68W charging.
