Moto G 5G with Snapdragon 750G launching in India on November 30th

Earlier this month, Motorola launched the Moto G 5G smartphone in Europe. It debuted as a toned-down variant of the Moto G 5G Plus that was announced in July. Now the Lenovo-owned brand has confirmed that it is bringing the standard Moto G 5G to India on November 30th at 12pm.

 The launch announcement was made on the brand’s official Twitter account. Shopping portal Flipkart has also put up a dedicated page for the Moto G 5G launch event. Motorola is teasing its upcoming offering as India’s most affordable 5G smartphone. 

The Indian variant of Moto G 5G is expected to retain the same specifications as its European counterpart. In Europe, the smartphone starts at €299 (~Rs 26,100) for the base variant and costs €349 (30,600) for the higher configuration. If the device is priced similarly in India, it will compete against the likes of OnePlus Nord, Pixel 4A and others in the price segment.

Moto G 5G specifications and features

To recall the technical specifications, the Moto G 5G features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout. It comes with HDR10 support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The Moto G 5G sports a triple-camera setup of 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro unit. Ont he front, the device features a 16MP selfie snapper. 

The Moto G 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon 750G processor. The device packs up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 20W TurboPower charging via USB-C port. It runs on Android 10 OS out of the box. 

The Moto G 5G is offered in Frosted Silver and Volcanic Grey colour.
