- The Moto G Play (2021) has been listed with Snapdragon 460 processor
- Both the Play Console and Geekbench listing reveal the same chipset
- The smartphone could launch in the coming weeks
Motorola is expected to launch a new smartphone soon. The device is dubbed as Moto G Play (2021) and it has been listed on Google Play Console. However, the Lenovo-owned brand has not revealed anything about the upcoming offering.
The Play Console listing reveals some key specifications of the Moto G Play (2021). It was first spotted by MySmartPrice. The phone had also appeared on Geekbench benchmarking site last month. The specifications on both the listings are also the same.
Moto G Play (2021) spotted on Google Play Console listing
The image of Moto G Play (2021) in Google Play Console listing shows the phone with a waterdrop notch and thick bezels all around the screen. It will come with HD+ display measuring 720 x 1600 pixels and 280ppi pixel density. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side of the device.
As for the core specifications, the Play Console listing reveals that the Moto G Play (2021) will be powered by Qualcomm SM4250 chipset which is the codename for Snapdragon 460 processor. It will be paired with Adreno 610GPU and 3GB RAM. The internal specs are also in line with the Geekbench listing. The device is said to have scored 253 in single-core and 1,233 in multi-core tests. Software-wise, the Moto G Play (2021) will run on Android 10 OS out of the box.
Apart from this, there is no more information about the Moto G Play (2021). Last month, OnLeaks had shared an alleged render of a Motorola phone called Moto G10 Play. However, he revealed that the name of the upcoming offering is not confirmed. It could be possible that the render points towards the rumoured Moto G Play (2021). If this turns out to be true, the upcoming offering will look different from the image in Play Console listing.
