Motorola will be present at this year’s MWC in Barcelona and will be hosting an event on February 23rd. At the event, the Lenovo-owned company is expected to introduce a handful of new devices, including the Moto G8, Moto G8 Power, Motorola Edge+, and a stylus-toting smartphone. Ahead of the launch, the press renders of the upcoming Moto handsets were recently leaked. The Motorola phone with a stylus was also leaked in a couple of renders. Now, the folks over at 91mobiles have managed to obtain the purported live images of the upcoming stylus-toting phone from the brand. In addition, the publication has leaked the core specifications of the device.
Moto G Stylus specifications and features
Talking about the specifications first, the source claims that the Motorola Moto G Stylus will feature a 6.3-inch or 6.4-inch display with an unknown screen resolution. The phone will be powered by one of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600-series processors. One of the variants of the device will have 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For imaging, the phone will have a 48MP primary camera with Dual Pixel autofocus, which will be aided by an Action Camera that will offer a wide-viewing angle of 117-degree. There’s no word regarding the third rear camera sensor of the device at the moment. No other details about the other specifications have been revealed by the source.
As for the leaked live images of the Moto G Stylus, they show that the handset will come with minimal bezels on all sides to provide more screen estate. The phone will flaunt a hole in the screen in the top-left corner to house the selfie camera. At the rear, the device will feature a triple camera module, which will be placed vertically. Apart from the three cameras, there seems to be another sensor onboard, which could be used for laser autofocus. Lastly, the handset’s Moto dimple at the rear is expected to double as a fingerprint sensor. Sadly, the live images don’t show the stylus that the phone will be arriving with.
Unfortunately, there’s no word regarding the pricing and availability details of the Moto G Stylus at the moment. However, it is safe to assume that it will be a mid-range offering.
