Moto G13 bags NBTC and BIS certifications, launch seems imminent

  • Moto G13 has been spotted on two certification websites
  • It has bagged NBTC in Thailand and BIS in India
  • The G13 will succeed the G10 from last year

Moto G13 has bagged NBTC certification in Thailand. It was spotted on the BIS website yesterday. The listings suggest an imminent launch of the smartphone. It’s worth noting that Motorola hasn’t launched any G-series phone with monikers between 11 to 19.

The certification websites don’t reveal any key specifications of the Moto G13. It is expected to be a budget offering. The device will likely arrive as the successor to the Moto G10 announced in February last year.

Moto G13 spotted on NBTC and BIS certification websites

The Moto G13 is listed on NBTC with model number XT2331-3. The BIS listing also carries the same model number hinting at its India launch. The NBTC certification listing confirms that the upcoming offering will be a 4G phone.

Apart from this, there is no additional information about the Moto G13. Since it will be a 4G device, we can expect it to be priced under Rs 15,000 segment. The smartphone could come with a 90Hz AMOLED display. Under the hood, the upcoming offering is tipped to be powered by an Helio G99 processor or a Snapdragon 732G. The Moto G13 will reportedly be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. It will ship with Android 13 OS out of the box.

We can expect the Moto G13 to launch in the near future since it has bagged two certifications.
