The Motorola Moto G20 has quietly launched in Europe. It is the seventh G-series phone from the brand after the Moto G100, Moto G50, Moto G60, Moto G40 Fusion, Moto G30, and Moto G10 that have already gone official this year.
The Moto G20 is an affordable phone that features a high refresh rate display. It features a new Unisoc branded chipset and comes with 4GB of RAM. For photography, it features a 48-megapixel quad-camera system and it draws power from a massive battery.
Moto G20 specifications and features
The Moto G20 has a 6.5-inch Max Vision IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. The smartphone offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It offers a screen-to-body of 87 percent.
The all-new Unisoc T700 chipset designed for budget-friendly devices fuels the Moto G20 with 4GB of RAM. The handset has 64GB of internal storage and a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage. The phone ships with Android 11 out of box.
On the front, the Moto G20 has a 13-megapixel selfie camera that supports features like HDR, portrait, face beauty, and Night Vision. The rear camera setup of the G20 has a 48-megapixel main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide snapper with a 118-degree FOV, a 2-megapixel macro camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The rear cameras offer features such as EIS, Night Vision, HDR, Google Lens, Portrait mode, and 30fps Full HD video recording.
The 5,000mAh battery of the Moto G20 supports only 10W charging. It is equipped with a dedicated hardware key for summoning the Google Assistant. The handset features dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Lastly, the device offers users an IP52 rated splash-resistant chassis.
Moto G20 pricing and availability
The Moto G20 is heading to Western European markets with a price of €149 (~Rs 13,500). It comes in two colour editions such as Breeze Blue and Flamingo Pink. There is no word on its availability and it is unclear whether it will be arriving in India.
