Earlier this month, the specifications of Moto G30 and G10 were revealed in leaks. Now the Lenovo-owned brand has launched the two smartphones in Europe. Motorola offers mid-range devices in its G-series and the latest offerings are no different.
The Moto G30 is the newest member in the brand’s G-series. The smartphone shares some of the same specifications as the Moto G10. Read on to know what the Moto G30 and G10 offer out of the box.
Moto G30 and Moto G10 specifications and features
On the display front, the Moto G30 and Moto G10 offer a 6.5-inch screen with waterdrop notch bearing HD+ resolution. The former features a 90Hz refresh rate while the latter has a 60Hz refresh rate panel.
Both smartphones come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side. The devices also feature a plastic body with a water-repellent design and a rectangular camera module on the back.
In the imaging department, the Moto G30 and G10 sport quad and triple rear camera setups respectively. The former is equipped with a 64MP main sensor while the latter has a 48MP primary unit. The rest of the camera sensors on both devices include an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro and 2MP depth shooter. Up front, the Moto G30 comes with a 13MP selfie snapper while the G10 features an 8MP camera.
Under the hood, the Moto G30 is powered by a Snapdragon 662 processor paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM with 128GB native storage. On the other hand, the Moto G10 is equipped with a Snapdragon 460 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and either 64GB or 128GB internal memory.
There is a microSD card slot on both devices for additional storage needs. A 5,000mAh battery unit backs the Moto G30 and G10 but the former supports 20W fast charging while the latter maxes out at 10W charging.
Connectivity-wise, the Moto G30 and G10 come with USB-C port, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the software front, the devices run on Android 11 out of the box.
Moto G30 and Moto G10 pricing and availability
The Moto G30 starts at €180 (~Rs 15,911) while the Moto G10 will retail from €150 (~Rs 13,258).The former is offered in Phantom Black and Pastel Sky colours while the later can be availed in Aurora Gray and Iridescent Pearl colours. Both smartphones will be available for purchase in Europe from this month. India availability is not known at the moment.
