Moto G31 has been launched in India today. It has arrived as the successor to the Moto G30 that was launched in March earlier this year. Last week, the Lenovo-owned brand announced the smartphone in the European market.
The Indian variant of the Moto G31 is slightly different compared to its global counterpart. Ahead of the launch, e-commerce platform, Flipkart had revealed key specifications of the smartphone. Read on to find out everything we know about the Moto G31.
Moto G31: launch date in India
The Moto G31 launched in India on November 29th, at 12 noon. Motorola revealed the smartphone’s price on its Twitter handle. Additionally, Flipkart also announced the price on its microsite.

Moto G31: sale date on Flipkart
The Moto G31 will be available for purchase from Flipkart. The first sale will commence from December 6th, 12 noon onwards.

Display and design
The Moto G31 features a center-aligned punch-hole screen measuring 6.4-inches. The display offers FHD+ resolution, 700 nits brightness, and 409 ppi pixel density. The device comes with a water-repellent design. The latest offering has a volume rocker, power, and dedicated Google Assistant buttons on the right side. The smartphone is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. On the back panel, there is a Moto logo as well as a pill-shaped rectangular camera module.
Triple cameras
The Moto G31 sports triple-rear cameras. The setup comprises a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP depth unit. One of the sensors also doubles up as a macro vision camera. The smartphone has a 13MP front-facing selfie camera.
Hardware
The Moto G31 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The smartphone is offered in two RAM and storage configurations i.e. 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. The latest offering is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit that is claimed to offer 36 hours of usage on a single charge.
ThinkShield security and stock Android
The Moto G31 features Lenovo’s business-grade ThinkShield security for protection against malware, phishing, and other cyber threats. Motorola also says that the device offers a near-stock Android UI with an ad and bloatware-free experience.
