Moto G50 5G (Saipan) key specifications have been obtained by Pricebaba today in collaboration with reputed tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks). The upcoming Moto G50 5G with the codename Saipan is not the same device as the Moto G50 5G (codenamed Ibiza), which launched in Europe in March.
As per our source, the Saipan model will be equipped with slightly different specs compared to the Ibiza model. Leaked renders of the new Moto G50 5G that were shared by well-known tipster Evan Blass yesterday revealed that its rear panel design will be different from the original model as well.
Moto G50 5G specifications and features
The Moto G50 5G (Saipan) will feature a 6.5-inch display that offers HD+ resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and 4GB of RAM. It will come with built-in storage of 64GB.
It will be fitted with a 13-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. The squarish camera island on its back will feature a 48-megapixel triple camera unit. For security, it will sport a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device will also offer features like NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack. It will be available in two colours, Iron and Cosmo.
The leak has no information on the battery size of the Moto G50 5G (Saipan). Earlier this month, a new Motorola phone with XT2149-1 model number was seen at the Anatel certification site of Brazil. The listing revealed that it has a 4,700mAh battery. It is unclear whether this is a rated or typical value.
To recollect, the Moto G50 5G (Ibiza) featured specifications like a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz display, a 13-megapixel front camera, and a 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple-camera unit. Other specs included the Snapdragon 480 5G SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB / 128GB of storage, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
