Moto G51 5G has been launched in India. Last week, the Lenovo-owned brand had announced the Moto G31 handset and now it is back with G51, which is the company’s most affordable 5G-enabled smartphone. It is also India’s first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 480 Plus mobile platform. With support for 12 5G bands, it is a smartphone that is ready for when 5G becomes widely available in the country.
The Moto G51 comes with several exciting features. To begin with, the handset features a high refresh rate display. It is fitted with a 50-megapixel triple camera unit and it is backed by a big battery. Like other Motorola phones, the Moto G51 offers a near-stock experience of Android OS.

The Moto G51 5G has arrived in a single variant that offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It comes in colours like Indigo Blue and Bright Silver.

Moto G51 first sale date
Like other Motorola phones, the Moto G51 will also be available through Flipkart. The retailer will be carrying out the first sale of the G51 at 12 pm on December 16th, 2021.

The Moto G51 5G features a massive 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole design. It offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It comes with an IP52 rated water-repellent chassis.
The Snapdragon 480+ chip powers the G51. The device comes with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of native storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. The G51 comes preloaded with Android 11 OS, which is customized with the My UX. The G51 comes with ThinkShield for mobile, which safeguards users’ data from threats like malware and phishing.
The handset offers a 13-megapixel camera on the front for capturing selfies and videos. Its back panel has a triple camera unit, which is headlined by a 50-megapixel camera. It is coupled with a 2-megapixel macro lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera that can also be used for depth shots.
The Moto G51 has a 5,000mAh battery under the hood. Unfortunately, the device supports only 10W charging. The other features that are available on the G51 include dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
