The Motorola Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion are launching at 12pm on April 20th in India. The official tweets that confirmed the launch date have also revealed the key specifications and features of both smartphones. The Moto G60 is likely to arrive as one of the most affordable phones with a 108-megapixel primary camera.
The G60 and G40 Fusion are both equipped with a Snapdragon 7-series chipset. These phones are fitted with large-sized displays with a punch-hole cutout. Both handsets will be available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart.
Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion specifications and features
The Motorola Moto G60 and G40 Fusion are both fitted with 6.8-inch displays with HDR10 and a 120Hz refresh rate. The displays of both phones have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
The Snapdragon 732G chipset is at the helm of Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion. The former features a main 108-megapixel camera, whereas the latter is equipped with a 64-megapixel primary camera. Both phones have triple rear cameras, but one of the cameras of the G40 Fusion offers dual functions. Recent reports have revealed that the Moto G60 and G40 Fusion’s triple-camera system will include 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors.
Motorola has also confirmed that the G60 has a front-facing 32-megapixel camera. On the other hand, the G40 Fusion has a 16MP front camera.
The Moto G60 and G40 Fusion are expected to offer up to 128GB of native storage. Recently, both phones were spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform running Android 11. The listings also revealed that the Moto G60 has 6GB of RAM, whereas the G40 Fusion has 4GB of RAM.
Both G-series smartphones are rumoured to house a 6,000mAh battery with fast charging support. For security, there are fitted with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. At present, there is no word on the pricing of the Moto G60 and G40 Fusion.
