Motorola teases launch of two G-series smartphones in India, Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion expected

Motorola will be soon launching two new G-series smartphones in India. The first teaser released by the brand only reveals the silhouette of both phones. The Lenovo-owned company is expected to release a couple of more teasers before confirming the launch date.

Last month, Motorola announced the Moto G10 and Moto G30 smartphones in India. The Moto G50 mid-range handset and the Moto G100 flagship phone were made official in global markets. Recent reports have claimed that Moto G20, Moto G40 Fusion, and Moto G60 are the upcoming smartphones from the brand.

Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion specifications and features (rumoured)

Recently, reliable tipster Mukul Sharma claimed that Moto G60 and Moto G40 are the upcoming G-series smartphones for India. Both phones are expected to offer identical specs and they may only differ in the camera department.

The Moto G60 and Moto G40 Fusion may arrive with a 6.78-inch LCD panel that offers Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The Snapdragon 732G mobile platform is expected to power both G-series smartphones. The G60 model may feature 6GB of RAM and the G40 Fusion may come with 4GB of RAM. Both models are likely to offer internal storage of up to 128GB.

The phones will run Android 11 out of the box and are likely to feature a massive 6,000mAh battery with fast charging support. The Moto G60 may feature a 32-megapixel selfie snapper, whereas the G40 Fusion could be equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera.

The rear-facing triple camera system of the Moto G60 may comprise a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 lens, an 8-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel. On the other hand, the triple camera system of the G40 Fusion may sport a 64-megapixel primary lens and the same auxiliary cameras.
