Moto G73 5G India launch date has been confirmed. It’s landing on Flipkart reveals that it will be announced on March 10th, 2023. It also confirms the key specifications of the device. While it is a new phone for the Indian market, it has already launched in Europe earlier this year.
One of the major attractions of the G73 is that it will feature a brand-new Dimensity chipset. It will offer other key features, such as a 120Hz display, 50-megapixel triple cameras, and a large battery. It will succeed last year’s Moto G72, which was a 4G device. The Moto G73 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of display design, it has a flat screen with a punch-hole in the centre. It will be India’s first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 930 processor. The Lenovo-owned brand has confirmed that it will arrive with support for 13 5G bands.
The D930 chip is likely to be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging over a USB Type-C port.
In terms of photography, the Moto G73 5G features a dual-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel shooter, embedded underneath a punch-hole cutout.
The Moto G73 5G runs on the latest Android 13 operating system with the MyUX skin on top. The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Its other features include dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an IP52-rated water-repellent design.
Moto G73 5G price in India
At present, there is no word on the Moto G73 5G’s price for the Indian market. In Europe, it is available for €299 (~Rs 26,300). It is likely that the G73 could be priced under Rs 25,000 in India. The official images available on the microsite reveal that it will be available in black and white colour options.
