The Moto G8 Plus’ specifications have been leaked barely hours ahead of the official launch in Brazil later today. We have spotted the device in the Google Play Console database. The listing on the website has revealed some key specifications of the Motorola Moto G8 Plus, including its chipset, graphics processor, RAM capacity, screen resolution, and Android OS version. In addition, the listing of the Moto G8 Plus on the Google Play Console also has an image of the device, which shows of the front of the smartphone.
Talking about the specs first, the Moto G8 Plus’ Google Play Console listing suggests that the smartphone will come with a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 pixels and a pixel density of 420ppi. Unfortunately, it hasn’t revealed the display size of the device. The phone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, which will have a clock speed of up to 2.0GHz. The processor will be paired with Qualcomm’s Adreno 610 GPU. Lastly, the listing suggests that the handset will come with 4GB of RAM and boot Android 9 Pie out of the box.
As for the design, the image on the Google Play Console’s website reveals that the Moto G8 Plus will have a waterdrop notch above the screen to house the selfie camera. The handset will have minimal bezels on top and sides, but will feature a thicker chin. The photo also reveals that the device’s volume rocker and power button will be placed on the right side. Earlier leaked images have suggested that the smartphone will come with three cameras at the rear.
