Earlier today, the Moto G8 series consisting of a standard G8, G8 Power and G Stylus were spotted in new render images. The G8 Power had also appeared on Geekbench a few days ago. Today, Amazon UK listed the G8 Power on its site revealing the device’s specifications. The e-commerce portal has already taken down the page. The listing gives us a glimpse at what to expect from the upcoming smartphone. It was first spotted by tipster Roland Quandt. The G8 Power’s design is also in line with past leaks and renders. Let’s find out what else the Amazon listing reveals.
According to the Amazon listing, the Moto G8 Power will feature a 6.4-inch display bearing FHD+ resolution. There is a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner that accommodates the front camera. There is a slightly thicker chin at the bottom of the device and the back panel houses a quad-camera setup along with a conventional fingerprint scanner. The Moto G8 Power is listed in Smoke Black and Capri Blue colour options. It also suggests dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby audio.
The Amazon listing reveals a quad-camera setup comprising of a 16MP main shooter and a 2MP macro lens. The resolutions of the other two sensors have not been detailed but one of them will be a wide-angle lens. As per past leaks, the device could be fitted with a 25MP front camera.
On the hardware front, the Moto G8 Power will feature a Snapdragon 665 chipset. It will be coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone is tipped to draw its power from a massive 5,000mAh battery unit and claimed to offer up to 3 days of battery life. The device will run on latest Android 10 out of the box.
Motorola hasn’t announced the official launch date of the Moto G8 series. However, the launch seems imminent since the G8 Power has been listed on Amazon UK. The Lenovo-owned brand is expected to announce the G8 and G8 Stylus as well.
