The Motorola Moto G8 smartphone has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports in the past. After much speculation, the Lenovo-owned brand was expected to introduce the phone at last month’s event alongside the Moto G8 Plus, but it wasn’t announced. However, it looks like the Moto G8 is still in the pipeline. The popular gadget tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks has posted a promotional video of the Moto G8. The latest leak has revealed a handful of details regarding the design of the upcoming Moto offering, apart from a few features of the handset.
Moto G8 design and features
As you can see in the video above, the Motorola Moto G8 will feature a premium appealing design. The phone will have nearly non-existent bezels on the sides and top, but there will be a thick chin at the bottom. On top of the screen, the smartphone will have a waterdrop notch, which will feature the selfie camera. At the rear, the handset will have a unibody design, which appears to be made out of a shiny polycarbonate material.
Furthermore, the leak has revealed that the Moto G8 will have a triple camera setup at the rear, which will be placed on the top-left corner. There seems to be a large single camera and below it, there’s another camera module with two lenses and an LED flash unit. Under these cameras, there’s a branding that suggests that the phone will come with a 48MP primary camera. Lastly, there’s a fingerprint sensor on the back that’s hiding below the Moto dimple.
Other specifications or features of the upcoming Motorola Moto G8 smartphone are not available at the moment. Also, there’s no word regarding the pricing of the handset or when the brand is exactly planning to launch the new Moto G series offering.
