Motorola launched its cheapest 5G-enabled smartphone, the Moto G 5G in India last week. Now the Lenovo-owned brand has introduced the Moto G9 Power in the country. It is the second device in the G9 lineup after the standard Moto G9 that debuted in August this year.
The Moto G9 Power was announced in Europe last month and the Indian variant retains the same specifications. It falls under the sub-Rs 12k price segment and will compete against the Micromax In Note 1, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Realme 6i, Infinix Zero 8i and others.
Moto G9 Power specifications and features
The Moto G9 Power sports a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. The back panel features a square-shaped camera module and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Moto logo. The smartphone is IP52 rated water and splash resistant.
The Moto G9 Power offers a triple camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro shooter and 2MP depth unit. On the front, the device has a 16MP selfie snapper. The device comes with a host of camera-related features and modes.
Internally, the Moto G9 Power is equipped with a Snapdragon 662 chipset. It is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone draws its power from a 6,000mAh battery unit with support for 20W fast charging.
The Moto G9 Power runs a stock version of Android 10 out of the box. Connectivity options on the device include a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G VoLTE and GPS.

The Moto G9 Power carries a price tag of Rs 11,999. It is offered in Sophisticated Metallic Sage colour. The smartphone will go on sale on Flipkart from December 15th at 12pm. HDFC bank customers can avail Rs 1,750 instant discount on the purchase while Axis Bank credit card users can get 5 percent unlimited cashback.
