Moto Tab G62 and Moto Tab G62 LTE tablets are in the works. Motorola re-entered the tablet market in India by launching the Moto Tab G20 in September 2021. Earlier this year, the Lenovo-owned brand unveiled the Moto Tab G70 with the Helio G90T onboard.
New information shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav reveals that the company could be working on a new tablet named Moto Tab G62. The tipster revealed that the Wi-Fi only and LTE variants of the tablet have appeared in the database of the Google Play Console. Now that it has been spotted at Play Console, it appears that it may not take too long for it to go official.
Moto Tab G62, Tab G62 specifications (rumoured)
Two Motorola devices with model numbers XT2261-1 and XT2261-2 have appeared on the Play Console. These are Wi-Fi only and LTE variants of the Moto Tab G62. The listings reveal that both tablets carry support for 2,000 x 1,200 pixels resolution and 240ppi pixel density. The Tab G62 appears to offer a near-stock Android experience, similar to the Tab G20 and Tab G70 models.
The Moto Tab G62 Wi-Fi-only model is powered by the Snapdragon 678 mobile platform. On the other hand, the Tab G62 LTE has the Snapdragon 665 under the hood. To those unversed, the Snapdragon 678 and 665 are older chipsets that went official in 2020 and 2019, respectively.
The Tab G62 duo is equipped with 4GB of RAM. Other details of the Tab G62 series, such as cameras and battery capacities, are under wraps. Both tablets are preinstalled with the Android 12 OS and have an identical front design.
Moto Tab G62 price in India (expected)
The Moto Tab G62 is likely to be positioned between the Moto Tab G70, which is priced at Rs 21,999 in India, and the Moto Tab G20, which costs Rs 10,999. Hence, it appears that the Tab G62 could be priced at around Rs 15,999 in India.
