Motorola’s X series of smartphones have garnered good reputation in the past owing to their high-end specifications and reasonable prices. Moto X4, the next phone in the series is touted to launch this year and several reports are already doing the rounds. Recently, there were reports about the phone which claimed that it will have a dual-camera setup, an aluminium body and support water resistance. Now, a new render of the Moto X4 has been leaked which shows just the dual-camera setup in great detail.
Evan Blass (popularly known as @evleaks) has shared an image supposedly from a Lenovo presentation. This image gives a close peek of the uniquely designed dual-camera setup in Moto X4. Both the cameras are enclosed in a ring which also accommodates the LED flash on the top.
According to previous leaks, the Moto X4 seems to be quite impressive. The dual-camera setup will feature an 8MP sensor along with a 12MP one to enhance the image quality and provide additional features. Even the front camera is said to have a 16MP sensor which might have a brilliant output when it comes to selfies and video calling.
The same reports also claim that Moto X4 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display enclosed in a full aluminium body. The phone might also be water resistant just like some other Moto phones. It is said to run Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.
With regards to performance, the Moto X4 will come with Snapdragon 630 which has eight cores clocking at 2.2GHz. It is said to have a 4GB RAM for seamless multi-tasking. As for the storage, the phone is expected to come with 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded by a microSD slot. The battery capacity might be 3000mAh but the Doze feature in Nougat will enhance the battery life and standby time.
The Moto X4 is also said to be the first non-Google smartphone which will support Google’s Project Fi. This will allow Moto X4 to seamlessly switch between carriers.
