Motorola entered the smart TV market last year in September 2020. Today, the company announced its first Android TV stick in India. Dubbed as Motorola 4K Android TV stick, the streaming device has launched in the country in partnership with Flipkart.
“Motorola products address key consumer needs,” said Prashanth Mani, Country Head and Managing Director, Motorola Mobility. “With India being one of the fastest-growing over-the-top (OTT) markets in the world with relatively low smart TV penetration, we believe that the Motorola 4K Android TV Stick addresses a key consumer need with its best-in-class features such as a Cortex A53 quad-core processor, built-in Chromecast, support for Ultra-HD content and more.
Motorola 4K Android TV Stick specifications and features
The Motorola 4K Android TV stick supports 2160p to 720p resolution at 60fps. It is driven by a 2GHz Cortex-A54 quad-core processor and Mali G31 MP2 graphics. The SoC is coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device offers an internal storage of 16GB and it runs Android 9.0.
The Motorola TV stick comes with Google Chromecast, Google Home, Google Assistant, and other apps from Google. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity, HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Audio.
The Motorola 4K Android TV stick comes with a remote that offers users four hotkeys for accessing popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, and YouTube. In India, it will be rivaling the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K, which is priced at Rs 5,999.

The Motorola 4K Android TV Stick is priced at Rs 3,999. Flipkart will begin its sales starting from March 15th.
