Motorola makes its smart TV debut, prices start at Rs 13,999

Apart from announcing the Moto E6s budget phone in India, Motorola also entered the TV market by introducing as many as six TVs that include HD ready, Full HD and Ultra HD models. The TV lineup has a staring price of Rs 13,999 and will be made available for purchase through Flipkart’s Big Billion Days shopping festival that is scheduled to start on September 29th.

Motorola TV Specs and Price in India

The 32-inch HD ready and 43-inch Full HD Motorola TVs are priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 24,999 respectively. They are equipped with 20W speakers with Dolby Audio support. These models come with LG IPS panels, Mali-470 MP3 graphics, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage.

The 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch UHD models are priced at Rs 29,999, Rs 33,999, Rs 39,999 and Rs 64,999 respectively. Except for the 50-inch model that has an Innolux display panel, the other variants have IPS panels from LG. Apart from Dolby Audio, they are also equipped with DTS TruSurround technology for an immersive audio experience. The 43-inch variant has 20W speakers on the front, while other models feature 30W front-firing speakers. Motorola also offers its AmphiSoundX technology for the accentuating the audio experience on these models.

The four models come with 2.25GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. MEMC technology assists in lag-free screen shift and gaming experience. They also support Dolby Vision, HDR10 and 10-bit color depth.

All the Motorola TV models are powered by quad-core processors and they run Android 9 Pie. The Motorola TVs offer access to Chromecast and the Play Store. The remote control of the Motorola TV series has a dedicated button for Google Assistant, as well as Netflix and YouTube hotkeys.

When it comes to comes to connectivity, the Motorola TVs offer features like HDMI ports, USB ports, TV input, SPDIF, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Lenovo-owned company is also offering Bluetooth enabled Android TV wireless gamepad along with the TV.
