The Motorola Edge 20 Pro’s India launch timeline has been tipped. Earlier this month, the company announced the Edge 20 and Edge 20 Fusion smartphones in India. Soon after they were unveiled, Motorola India Country Head Prashant Mani confirmed that the Edge 20 Pro will be also releasing soon in India. Tipster Debayan Roy has now claimed that it will debut by end-September in the country.

The handset will be rivalling other Snapdragon 870 SoC-powered smartphones like the Xiaomi Mi 11X and iQOO 7 5G in India. Since the Edge 20 is priced at Rs 29,999, the Edge 20 Pro could be priced between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000 in the country.

The specifications of the Edge 20 Pro are no secret since it debuted in global markets in July. It features a 6.67-inch OLED screen that offers Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display punch-hole features a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and its rear camera setup has a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel camera for ultra-wide and macro shots, and an 8-megapixel periscope zoom lens with 5x optical zoom support.
The Snapdragon 870 chip powers the Edge 20 Pro. In Europe, the smartphone is available in a single variant featuring 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. It offers other features such as an in-screen fingerprint scanner, Android 11 with MyUX UI, a Display Port, and a Google Assistant key.
