Motorola Edge 30 Ultra camera samples revealed
The camera sample image shared by Motorola’s General Manager is from using the 200MP sensor on the Edge 30 Ultra. It is captured at 50MP resolution using the sensor’s 4-in-1 pixel binning technology. The executive adds that it is better than the 9-in-1 pixel binning process supported in 108MP phones. The 200MP camera uses Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor and Motorola is touting it as ‘a new benchmark for image experience’. It’s worth noting that the camera sample image is compressed as it was shared on Weibo. The file size of that image is also 13MB.
Apart from the 200MP camera sensor, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is confirmed to be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor under the hood.
As per past reports, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is expected to come with a curved 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and support for a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The phone will be paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It is expected to be backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 125W charging speed.
