Hence, it appears that the Edge 40 Pro will be a rebranded version of the Moto X40, which is expected to launch in December 2022 in China. Motorola Edge 40 Pro specifications
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro’s latest leak reveals that it will have a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device will run on the My UI-flavored Android 13 OS.
The Edge 40 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 8GB / 12GB / 16GB of RAM. It will be available in storage variants like 128GB, 256GB, and 512 GB. The device will pack a 4,610mAh battery with 125W charging support.
On the front, the Edge 40 Pro will have a 60-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera setup of the device will have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto snapper with 2x optical zoom.

The Edge 30 Pro was priced at Rs 49,999 at launch. It debuted as the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 phone in the country. It appears that the Edge 40 Pro may carry similar pricing. Hence, it may end up being the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in India.
