Motorola is set to introduce a flagship smartphone nearly two years since the launch of the Moto Z3 in 2018. It is rumoured to be called the Motorola Edge+. The Lenovo-owned brand is reportedly working on two more smartphones, namely the Moto G8 Power Lite and Motorola One Mid. Now in a series of tweets, XDA Developer’s Mishaal Rahman has leaked the key specifications of all three smartphones. To recall, the Motorola Edge+ was spotted on Geekbench last month, while the G8 Power Lite is expected to arrive as the toned-down variant of the G Power announced earlier this month.

Starting with the Motorola Edge+, the smartphone will boast of a 6.67-inch curved display bearing FHD+ resolution. It will feature a 90Hz refresh rate panel. The device will be powered by a flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with 12GB RAM. In a Geekbench listing last month, the phone was spotted running Android 10. Mishaal states that the Motorola Edge+ will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. It is also expected to support 5G networks. The smartphone will be available in the US via Verizon and will also be launched globally.
The Motorola One Mid is expected to arrive as the latest Android One offering in the Motorola One lineup. The device will feature a 6.53-inch FHD+ display. It will be equipped with a Snapdragon 675 SoC and draw its power from a 4,000mAh battery unit. As for the Moto G8 Power Lite, the tipster claims that the device will run on the MediaTek Helio P35 processor along with a 5,000mAh battery. The RAM and storage capacities of the Motorola One Mid and Moto G8 Power Lite are not revealed.
Apart from the hardware specifications, there is currently no information on the Motorola Edge+, One Mid and G8 Power Lite. According to a past report, Motorola had scheduled an event at MWC but it was cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak. The Lenovo-owned brand is now expected to conduct a separate event in the near future where it may unveil the smartphones.
