Motorola Frontier’s alleged live image gives us a closer look at the smartphone’s camera module along with some details. It also matches the leaked render shared by tipster Evan Blass last month. The live image was shared by a Chinese tipster on the microblogging platform Weibo.
The Motorola Frontier is expected to be a flagship offering. The smartphone’s renders and key specifications were leaked earlier in January this year.
Motorola Frontier live image leaked
As per the leaked live image, the Motorola Frontier has a huge square camera island. There is a big primary sensor at the top and two regular lenses below besides each other. There is also a tiny strap beside the camera module housing a vertical LED flash and a ‘200MP HP1 OIS f/2.2’ text engraved. This suggests that the smartphone will indeed come with a 200MP main camera and OIS support.
To recall, Samsung had launched the world’s first 200MP ISOCELL HP1 mobile camera sensor last year. It is capable of working as several different sensors due to a deep learning-based algorithm. The live image of the device also reveals the iconic Moto batwing logo and the volume rocker and power buttons located on the right side.
The smartphone is also seen with curved edges and in a Grey colour option. As per leaked specifications, the Motorola Frontier is expected to come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display. It will feature a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The device will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
