Motorola unveiled its flagship smartphone, the Moto X40, in an event in China on December 15. Along with the Moto X40, the company also launched its cheapest 5G smartphone, the Moto G53 5G. It will be the successor of the Moto G52 4G, which was launched in April of this year.

However, keep in mind that these smartphones are currently launched in China and are expected to arrive in India in early 2023. Let’s take a closer look at the latest Moto G53 5G.

The Moto G53 5G flaunts a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole cutout for the 8MP selfie snapper and a 120Hz refresh rate. Beneath the display, the smartphone draws power from the Snapdragon octa-core chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on the MyUX on top of Android 13.

In terms of camera, the smartphone packs in a 50MP + 2MP dual camera setup at the back. The Moto G53 5G gets its juice from the 5000mAh battery with USB Type-C 18W fast charging support. Regarding connectivity, it comes with 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Moto G53 5G Price and Availability

The Moto G53 5G comes in two variants. The base one comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at RMB 899 (around Rs 10,700). On the other hand, the second variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at around RMB 1099 (approx Rs 13,100).
