Motorola Moto G Power 5G has been quietly launched in the US. It is the first G Power-branded smartphone to arrive with support for 5G connectivity. The device has arrived as the successor to the Moto G Power (2022) from last year.
The specifications of the device are similar to the Moto G73 5G, which debuted in other markets, including India, recently. Some of the major highlights of the device include a 120Hz display, a Dimensity 9-series chipset, 50-megapixel triple rear cameras, and a large battery. Moto G Power 5G specifications and features
The Moto G Power 5G houses a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It comes preloaded with the My UX-based Android 13 OS. The power button located on the right edge of the G Power doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.
The G Power 5G has a 16-megapixel camera for shooting selfies and making video calls. Its rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel main camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for macro and depth shots. It houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. However, the in-box charger supports only 10W charging.
The G Power 5G features the Dimensity 930 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage. Other features of the device include 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual stereo speakers.
In comparison, the Moto G73 5G features a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera unit, a 16-megapixel camera, and 30W charging. The rest of the specs are identical on both smartphones.
