Motorola Moto G22 has been launched in Europe. The device replaces the Moto G20 from last year and packs in specs similar to the Helio G37 powered Moto G Power (2022) from last year. After Europe, the G22 will be heading to different markets such as Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia in the coming weeks.
The Moto G22 comes with a punch-hole display that supports a high refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G-series chip and a large-sized battery. The G22 is fitted with a 50-megapixel quad-camera unit for photography.

The Motorola Moto G22 sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 269ppi pixel density. The device is powered by the Helio G37 chipset and 4GB of RAM.
The G22 comes with 64 GB of built-in storage. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot. It runs on the latest Android 12 OS. To keep the lights on, it has a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. However, the retail box of the device includes a 10W charger.
Coming to the cameras, the Moto G22 has a 16-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calls. The rear shell of the device features a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a pair of 2-megapixel auxiliary cameras for depth and macro shots. The G22 offers other features such as dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, a side-facing fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

In Germany, the Moto G22 is priced at €169 (~Rs 14,250) for the sole 4GB+64GB variant. The device comes in four colours namely, Pearl White, Iceberg Blue, Cosmic Black, and Mint Green. It is unclear whether the device will be released in India.
