Motorola One Fusion Plus with pop-up selfie camera launching in India soon

A few days ago, Motorola announced the One Fusion Plus smartphone in Europe. It is the second device in the company’s portfolio to feature a pop-up selfie camera. Now the Lenovo-owned brand has confirmed the launch of Motorola One Fusion Plus in India via its Twitter handle.

The teaser does not reveal the name or the launch date of the upcoming smartphone but the outline of the phone along with hashtag #UltimateOne indicates it is the Motorola One Fusion Plus. The smartphone is expected to retain the same specifications from its European variant and debut with a mid-range price tag in India.

The Motorola One Fusion Plus is the brand’s second phone with a pop-up selfie camera

The Motorola One Fusion Plus offers a FHD+ display measuring 6.5-inches with HDR10 support. The smartphone can be availed in Moonlight White and Twilight Blue colour option. The back of the phone is home to a vertical quad camera module and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Motorola logo. 

The camera setup on the One Fusion Plus comprises a 64MP main sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP macro shooter and a 2MP depth unit. The pop-up camera module houses a 16MP selfie snapper. 

The Motorola One Fusion Plus is equipped with a Snapdragon 730 processor paired with Adreno 618 GPU onboard. The device packs 6GB RAM and offers 128GB onboard storage expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. The One Fusion Plus draws its power from a massive 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 15W TurboPower charging. Like previous Moto devices, this one too runs on a stock Android 10 OS. 

Motorola One Fusion Plus pricing and availability

The Motorola One Fusion Plus retails at €299 (25,450) in Europe. We expect it to be priced lower in India and compete against Poco X2, Realme 6 Pro etc in the price segment.
