Motorola has been launching smartphones with a new design philosophy lately, such as the Motorola Edge+ with a curved-edge, punch-hole display. The Lenovo-owned brand launched its first smartphone with elevating selfie camera called the Motorola One Hyper last December.
Earlier this month, Motorola announced its second smartphone with a pop-up selfie camera in Europe, namely Motorola One Fusion Plus. The device was listed on the official website of the company, revealing all details including the specifications. Now, the company has launched the mid-range smartphone in India after teasing its launch last week.
Motorola One Fusion Plus specifications and features
The Motorola One Fusion Plus ships with a 6.5-inch edge-t0-edge display with HDR10 support and 2,340 x 1,080 pixels resolution. Notably, the display is the same as that of the Motorola One Hyper. Powering the device is the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G backed by an Adreno 618 GPU. The processor is further accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with support for up to 1TB microSD cards. The handset boots a near stock Android 10 OS out of the box.
The Motorola One Fusion Plus features a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup on the rear panel. The primary lens is backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The motorised selfie camera module on the top houses a 16-megapixel snapper. The phone offers camera features like AI shot optimisation, portrait, spot colour, night mode, beauty mode and more.
Under the hood, the Motorola One Fusion Plus features a beefy 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W TurboPower fast charging. There’s a capacitive fingerprint scanner embedded in the dimpled Motorola logo on the back for security.
Motorola One Fusion Plus price in India
Motorola has priced the smartphone in India at Rs 16,999. The handset will go on sale starting June 24th on Flipkart.
