Lenovo-owned Motorola introduced its first pop-up selfie camera smartphone called the Motorola One Hyper last December. The brand then shifted gears and launched a flurry of punch-hole display smartphones including its flagship – the Motorola Edge+. However, it seems that the brand has not completely written off pop-up selfie cameras.
The company has now announced its second offering with a pop-up selfie camera called the Motorola One Fusion Plus in Europe. The smartphone has been listed on the official website of the brand, without revealing information about the availability and launch date. Here’s what you need to know about the newly announced device.
Motorola One Fusion Plus specifications and features
The Motorola One Fusion Plus comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with 2,340 x 1,080 pixels resolution and HDR10 support, just like the Motorola One Hyper. Ticking at the core of the new mid-range offering is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset backed by an Adreno 618 GPU. The processor is accompanied by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card. The smartphone boots near stock Android 10 out of the box.
In the camera department, the Motorola One Fusion Plus will come with a 64-megapixel quad-camera module positioned on the rear panel. The primary camera is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The elevating selfie camera on the top is a 16-megapixel unit. The camera app comes with features like AI shot optimisation, portrait, spot colour, night mode, beauty mode and more.
Powering the smartphone is a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W TurboPower fast charging. For security, the handset comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Motorola One Fusion Plus pricing and availability
Motorola will offer the One Fusion Plus in Moonlight White and Twilight Blue colour options. The Motorola One Fusion Plus will retail for €299 (~Rs 25,450) in Europe and will be made available sometime later this month.
