Motorola One Fusion+ gets a price hike in India, now retailing at Rs 17,499

Motorola launched its second smartphone with pop-up selfie camera called the Motorola One Fusion+ in India earlier this year in June. The brand’s first smartphone with an elevating selfie camera was the Motorola One Hyper that was launched last December.

The new phone comes with a 6.5-inch edge-to-edge display, Snapdragon 730G SoC, 64MP quad cameras and more as its highlights. The brand has been selling the latest launch in the country through flash sales so far and the next sale is scheduled on July 13th at 12:00 pm. Ahead of the next sale, the Lenovo-owned brand has hiked the pricing of the One Fusion+ in the country.

The new pricing of the smartphone has been listed on the Flipkart ahead of the next sale. As per the new listing, the price of the smartphone has been revised from Rs 16,999 to Rs 17,499, which is an increase of Rs 500 over the launch price. The company has hiked the price in less than a month from its launch date and with just a couple of sales under its belt.

Motorola One Fusion+ specifications and features

The Motorola One Fusion+ features a 6.5-inch edge-to-edge full HD+ display with HDR10 support. Ticking at the core of the smartphone is mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G backed by an Adreno 618 GPU. The processor is further backed by 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The onboard storage can be further expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card. Out of the box Motorola One Fusion+ boots near stock Android 10 OS out of the box.

In the camera department, the phone features a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The elevating selfie camera module houses a 16-megapixel snapper. The camera app is fitted with features like AI shot optimisation, portrait, spot colour, night mode, beauty mode and more.

Powering the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery with support for  15W TurboPower fast charging. There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
