Just a few days before the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the One Vision, Motorola has slashed the prices of the One Power in India. The device was launched last year as the company’s first Android One offering. It will be the predecessor to the upcoming Motorola One Vision.
The Motorola One Power was a mid-range device launched at a price tag of Rs 15,999. It had received a price cut of Rs 1,000 a few months after launch. Now the price has been slashed by Rs 2,000 for the second time bringing down the price tag to Rs 12,999. The revised price is already visible on Flipkart. Additionally, the shopping portal is also offering a 10 percent instant discount for Axis Bank Credit and Debit cardholders.
To recall the technical specifications, the Moto One Power sports a 6.2-inch display bearing an FHD+ resolution and a notch on the top. The device flaunts a metal and glass body and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Moto logo on the back. On the imaging front, the Moto One Power is equipped with a dual rear camera comprising of 16MP and 5MP sensors. It features a 12MP front shooter for selfies.
On the hardware front, the Moto One Power is powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. For additional storage needs, the device features microSD card slot. The Motorola One Power draws its power from a beefy 5,000mAh battery with support for TurboPower fast charging. Being an Android One device, the One Power runs Android 9 Pie OS and is guaranteed to receive two years of security and software updates.
Motorola has scheduled a launch event on June 20th in India where the brand will launch the Motorola One Vision smartphone. A few days ago, Motorola also slashed the prices of three other devices by Rs 1,000. The Moto G7 now retails at Rs 14,999 while the G7 Power and Motorola One are available at Rs 12,999.
