Motorola One Vision With Punch Hole Display And 48MP Camera Launched In India for Rs 19,999

Motorola has launched its third Android One device in India dubbed as the Motorola One Vision. The smartphone was announced in Brazil last month. It is the successor to last year’s Motorola One Power and comes with significant upgrades. Let’s take a look at the technical specifications and features below:

Display & Design:

The Motorola One Vision sports a full HD+ display measuring 6.3-inches. It features a wide and tall 21:9 aspect ratio screen that offers a cinematic viewing experience like the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus. The device joins the punch-hole display bandwagon with a camera cutout on the top left corner. In terms of design, the One Vision comes with a gradient glass back panel and can be availed in two colour options – Bronze and Sapphire Blue. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the Moto logo. The One Vision is also IP52-rated dust and water resistant.


The Motorola One Vision is equipped with a dual camera setup comprising of a 48MP primary Samsung GM-1 sensor with f/1.7 aperture. It is accompanied by a 5MP depth shooter. The device is fitted with a 25MP shooter on the front for clicking selfies. The One Vision comes with Night Vision mode that aids in clicking better pictures in the dark. The camera also offers other features like portrait mode, pro mode, spot colour, studio lighting, hyperlapse video, etc. It is also equipped with 3-axis OIS that avoids blurry images due to camera movement. The device supports 4K video recording at 30fps.

Hardware, & OS:

Under the hood, the Motorola One Vision houses Samsung’s Exynos 9609 chipset ticking at 2.2GHz. The processor is paired with 4GB RAM and Mali G-72 MP3 GPU onboard. The device offers 128GB internal storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card slot for additional needs. The Motorola One Vision is a part of the Android One family and runs stock Android 9 Pie out of the box. Users can also expect guaranteed security and OS updates for the next two years.

Battery & Connectivity: 

The Motorola One Vision draws its power from a 3,500mAh battery unit fitted inside. It supports TurboPower fast charging technology with a 15W charger bundled inside. Motorola claims that it can deliver up to 7 hours of power with 15 minutes of charging. On the connectivity front, the device comes with a USB Type-C port at the bottom, a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, dual SIM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Pricing & Availability:

Motorola has set the price of One Vision at Rs 19,999. The device will go on sale starting June 27th at 12pm via Flipkart. Vodafone and Idea subscribers can avail cashback worth Rs 3,750 and additional data up to 250GB on purchasing the device. At this price, the One Vision will go up against the Samsung Galaxy M40, Galaxy A50 and Redmi Note 7 Pro in the mid-range segment.
