Motorola Razr 2022 and Moto X30 Pro smartphones launch date has been announced on the microblogging platform Weibo. The former is a foldable clamshell offering. The Lenovo-owned brand is set to unveil the two devices in China on August 2nd at 7:30 pm local time.
Motorola has been teasing key features of the Razr 2022 and X30 Pro smartphones. The processor on both smartphones has already been confirmed

The launch date poster doesn’t mention much information about the Razr 2022 and X30 Pro smartphones. The former is seen with horizontal dual rear cameras whereas the latter has a rectangular module housing a big primary sensor at the top and two lenses below beside each other. The Moto X30 Pro is confirmed to feature a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP1 main camera.
Both the Motorola Razr 2022 and X30 Pro are confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor under the hood.
As for Motorola’s foldable smartphone, the brand’s General Manager Chen Jin shared an official video showing its secondary display. The screen size appears to be quite big and shows a simple Dice game being played. The game even doesn’t fit on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 external screen. Jin’s post says “You can play like this on the outside screen.” A closer look at the video also reveals horizontal dual cameras along with an LED flash. The setup will reportedly consist of a 50MP main and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. Meanwhile, a previous teaser had also revealed that the clamshell device’s internal display will have a punch-hole cutout and reduced iconic chin.
Both the Motorola Razr 2022 and X30 Pro are expected to be available in various configurations up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
