Motorola Razr design

The Motorola razr will feature a clamshell design

As indicated by various leaks, the Motorola razr is expected to sport a clamshell design with a large foldable display on the interior. On the exterior, the phone is likely to sport a small screen which will show call alerts, messages, notifications. A hinge in the middle of the phone is also speculated, making it convenient to fold the device. The small screen would offer only limited functionality, while the bigger display on the inside handling most tasks.

In addition to this, the main display of the Moto razr has also been leaked to have a notch on top. An earpiece would sit inside the notch along with a selfie snapper. While the side bezels on this bigger display are expected to be minimum, a broader chin with a fingerprint sensor could be in the offing. It has been leaked in a black shade but consumers can expect white and gold colour variants as well.

The main display will feature a notch with thin bezels

The Motorola razr device has been rumoured to sport a 6.2-inch OLED bendable display on the inside with a resolution of 876 x 2,142 pixels. As mentioned earlier, the display would house a notch with a selfie camera placed inside it along with an earpiece. It will have minimum bezels on the sides. The smaller display on the outside would just alert the user about calls, notifications and messages. There is no other information available about this aspect as of now.

In terms of performance, the Motorola razr has been revealed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of 128GB of internal storage. This means that the device would not only be unique in terms of its design, but would also come with a respectable processor under its hood.

The primary camera on the outside will also function as a selfie snapper

As mentioned above, the Motorola razr smartphone would carry a selfie snapper on its bigger display. On the outside, the phone is also likely to carry another camera beneath the smaller display. It would act as a rear and front camera when the phone is opened and folded, respectively. This means that consumers would get two selfie snappers and a single primary camera on the Motorola razr.

Other specs

Coming to the other specifications, the phone has been leaked to have a 2,730mAh battery. It will feature Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity, as can be expected from a smartphone. At the moment, only these details have surfaced on the internet.

Motorola razr price and availability

The rumour mill has already churned out the expected price of the Motorola razr. The foldable offering is expected to cost a whopping $1,500 (~Rs 1,06,400). It has been speculated to launch in December across Europe after its November release. However, there’s no information about its arrival in India yet. It would be wise to mention that the specifications and price should be taken with a pinch of salt as they are only rumours and leaks as of now.
