Motorola Razr sale in India postponed to April 15th amidst coronavirus lockdown

The Motorola Razr has been around the global market for a while now. The clamshell phone with a foldable screen launched in India on March 16th, with pre-orders beginning the same day and deliveries due to commence starting April 2nd. However, due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the release date is now postponed to April 15th. The new date marks the first business day at the end of the ongoing 21-day nation-wide lockdown to prevent further spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Motorola Razr specifications and features 

The Motorola Razr (unboxing) flaunts a dual-screen setup consisting of a primary 6.2-inch Flex View pOLED display with a resolution of 2142 x 876 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:9. The secondary screen is a 2.7-inch Quick View display with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 4:3. It can be used for checking notifications and also functions  as a viewfinder for taking selfies. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 710 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage.

The handset flaunts a 16-megapixel primary camera with an aspect ratio of f/1.7, dual-LED Flash, Dual Pixel, EIS, and laser autofocus. The front camera is a 5-megapixel unit. The device draws power from a 2,510mAh battery with 15W TurboPower fast charging and runs Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include eSIM, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and more. Other highlights include splash-proof nano-coating, a physical fingerprint scanner, and the USB Type-C Razr earbuds tuned by Denon Audio with an advanced DSP.

Motorola Razr price in India

The Motorola Razr was launched in India at Rs. 1,24,999. The company is currently offering a one-time screen replacement warranty worth Rs. 7,999. The handset is available only in black,. It is expected to arrive in a second second color of gold in the near future.
