Motorola’s tablet may soon Iaunch in India, claims a new report by 91mobiles that cites tipster Yogesh Brar as the source. It is believed that the tablet will debut during the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale. Several brands are expected to announce new products through the upcoming sale on Flipkart. However, the retail giant is yet to confirm the dates of the Big Billion Days Sale.

Motorola had launched tablets like the Xoom in 2013 and Moto Tab in 2017, but it did not announce newer models since it could not meet success in the tablet segment. However, the COVID-19 pandemic and rise in online education has boosted tablet sales in various markets. Motorola too could be aiming to return to the tablet market in India in such a scenario.

Apart from being a rebranded version of an existing Lenovo tablet, the forthcoming Motorola tablet is expected to offer a stock Android experience. It is likely to be priced under Rs 20,000, which would allow it rival the recently unveiled Realme Pad tablet.
Moto Tab G20 specifications and features
The tipster has not mentioned the name of the upcoming Motorola tablet for India, but the publication has speculated that it could be a rebadged edition of the Lenovo Tab M10. Last month, an upcoming tablet labelled “Lenovo moto tab g20” was spotted at the Google Play Console. The listing revealed that it supports an HD+ resolution of 1,200 x 800 pixels, a Helio P22T chipset, 3GB of RAM, and Android 11.The render of the tablet (shown above) that was found in the Google Play Console listing shows that it will come equipped with thick bezels. The above-mentioned specs suggest that the Moto Tab G20 could be a rebranded version of the Lenovo Tab M8 (3rd Gen) that launched in global markets in June.
The Lenovo Tab M8 is packed with specs like an 8-inch LCD HD+ display, Helio P22T, 2-megapixel front camera, 5-megapixel rear camera, a microSD card slot, and 5,100mAh battery. Its 2GB RAM variant comes with 32GB storage and Android 11 Go edition, where its 3GB RAM model has the same storage and Android 11. Hence, it appears that the upcoming Motorola tablet for India could be a rebranded version of Lenovo Tab M8 (3rd Gen), instead of the Lenovo Tab M10 as speculated in the original report.
