- Motorola ThinkPhone is expected to launch soon
- A new leak has revealed its key specifications
- In addition, new renders of the device have also surfaced
Motorola ThinkPhone’s key specifications and new renders have surfaced. These details have already surfaced in a recent report. Unlike the previously seen images, the new renders of the ThinkPhone shared by reputed tipster Evan Blass give a good look at its design since there are no watermarks.
In addition, tipster Yogesh Brar, who is known for reliable leaks, has also shared the key specifications of the ThinkPhone. The branding of the device suggests that it could be a business-centric device. Some unconfirmed reports have claimed that a rebranded version of the phone will be available in some markets under the Motorola ThinkPhone moniker.
Motorola ThinkPhone design
The Motorola ThinkPhone has a punch-hole display with symmetrical bezels. The top edge of the phone is not visible in the leaked renders, but its bottom view reveals the presence of a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a microphone.
The left edge of the ThinkPhone has an unknown, red-coloured button. Its right side has volume buttons and a power key. The square-shaped camera module on the back has a 50-megapixel triple camera unit with an LED flash. The textured finish on the back suggests that its rear shell could be made up of carbon fibre.
Motorola ThinkPhone specifications (rumoured)
According to Brar, the Motorola ThinkPhone will have a 6.6-inch P-OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. In all likelihood, it will have an under-display fingerprint scanner.
On the front, the ThinkPhone will sport a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Its rear shell will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera, which appears to be a depth sensor. It will come preinstalled with the Android 13 OS.
The ThinkPhone will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery, 68W fast charging, and 15W wireless charging. Under the hood, it will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform and 8GB / 12GB of RAM. The device will be offered in multiple storage variants, such as 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Finally, the device will be housed in an IP68 dustproof and water-resistant chassis.
Motorola ThinkPhone launch timeframe (rumoured)
Motorola is yet to confirm the existence of the ThinkPhone. Speculations are rife that it will debut in Q1 2023.
